Helps children develop number sense in a fun environment. Encourages conversations about numbers.
"Look, 3 more and I get a peppermint stick."
"I have 35 and you only have 23. I'm winning by 12."
Counting and comparing come naturally so they can brag to their opponent. A stack of 10 gumdrops is the same size as a peppermint stick, so children can compare visually to see how close they are.
Roll the die (or several dice if you increase the number in settings.) Then tap the candy box to add that much candy. If your roll is more than 10, you can get all gumdrops, or a mixture of gumdrops and peppermint sticks. Use the trade table to trade up: 10 gumdrops trade for a peppermint stick. 10 peppermint sticks trade for a chocolate bar.
In free play you just add the candy you want. Use the candy to model math problems or just play. The trade table here will let you trade up or down. There is a trash can to remove extra candy.
Gumdrop Math Lite is just the freeplay mode, with a place value mat for a background.
Note: Gumdrop Math was previously for sale on mobile platforms. The above screenshots show the game on a phone screen.
